Clearfield Veterinary Hospital opened in June of 2000 in Woodland, PA We started with six rooms in a house and converted them into a reception, exam room, surgery and X-ray and wet and dry laboratories. Three years later we were bursting at the seams. We built on this addition, making our hospital 1700 square feet, and managed well for a few more years.

Never did we imagine we would need to expand again. But here we were again. After much consideration we decided that in order to have a hospital that could function up to the standard of care we seek for our patients expanding in our present location was not going to work. So we moved!

In November of 2019 we moved our hospital into this renovated building in Lawrence township in Clearfield. We went from 1700 square feet to 15,000 square feet. We now had dedicated surgery space for prep, sterilization, and dental treatments. Separate wards for dogs, cats, exotics, and isolation for contagious animals. So many changes that could not be covered here. We were set up to offer boarding, training, agility classes, and day care services. Our open house was scheduled for March of 2020. Of course Covid-19 hit.

Rest assured we are working on rescheduling our open house. We would love for everyone to come and see us in our new facility.
